I was at a chevy dealer ship talking to one of the service mechs about something. He was telling me something about a shift kit he can install for 35.99 plus 100.00 in labor. Supposed to make the tranny shift harder/quicker. And while at lower speeds will have slow smooth acceleration perfected.

I noticed when at speeds of 10-20mph it slips sometimes when I get on the gas with a real light touch. Acts confused like it doesn't know what gear it wants to go in.


Also... are chevy dealers capable of reprogramming the trucks computer? Or should I buy a chip/programmer. I was told by this service mech that I can get some reprogramming done for 100 and it would be better then buying a 400 dollar hand held programmer.
