04 Z71 question...
 

Ive got a 04 Z71 5.3L, I just put a 6in lift and 20in wheels and tires on it. Now it needs some more power to turn them. I was thinking a throttle body spacer along with a new intake and a better exhaust. Should this get me what i need?? Any opinions will help, and are all aftermarket intakes basically the same?

What size tires did you go with? If you got bigger tiers you might want to change you gear ratio. Check this out http://www.4lo.com/calc/geartable.htm

Cool thanks man, ill look into this. I hardly ever drive this truck so i was actually thinking about throwing a supercharger on it, but the more i have read into it, it has started to sound like a bunch of trouble plus all of that stuff goes over my head!

Awesome man thanks, i contacted STS, and i should be getting a call back sometime soon. I want to find out what all i need to do and if there will be maintanance with keeping it up and running. Like i said before all that stuff goes over my head. Its not a daily driver but yet i dont want to always be working on it either.

Well i talked to the guys there, and im kicking the idea around. I had seen the STS systems before and knew they were fairly new, but the price was the shocker. They were talking around 6,000 for my truck, now i have to figure out a way to justify dropping that into my truck to the boss of the house. I dont think shes gonna like that idea. HAHA
