I have an 05 Sierra 1/2 ton with a 4.8L V8. I have installed flowmaster exhaust,and re-programmed the computer with a Granetellli Predator programmer. I am looking for more budget upgrades. I want to have quicker throttle response, and overall more power. I am also considering putting and electric water pump on my truck to gain some hp as well. any suggestions are greatly appreciated. What is the results if I take my MASS Sensor and remove the screen and reinstall it at the intake using a spacer? I've heard it adds some power. DO NOT REMOVE THE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR SCREEN. IT IS THERE FOF A REASON.
TO PROTECT THE SENSOR WIRES.NO PERFORMANCE GAINS.

the best bang for the buck will be a nelson performance tune with 80% torque mangament removed. beats any hand held anyday all day.

 

a bbk throttle body might not give you an insane h/p and torque gains but should give a crisper/quicker throttle response..

 

I'd suggest an intake.
