07 sierra exhaust
hello, im new here so i have a lot of questions. i just purchest a 2007 gmc sierra 1500 with a 4.3L V6 engine and i would like to put an after market exhaust on. i cant find one anywhere online and i dont know what to do. i dont really want to pay alot. i just want it to sound louder and if possible gain some torque and or HP. i have a cherry bomb laying around the garage but my friend said that it will sound like a muscle car and i dont want that. if u can give me some advice or point me in the right direction to a better sounding truck then that would be great...thanks a bunch

RE: 07 sierra exhaust
I don't see why you couldn't get a muffler shop to weld on that cherry bomb in place of your factory muffler and then just have them run a y-pipe and duals with chrome tips. That would work great. Don't know how cherry bombs sound as most people around here either have Flowmaster or Magnaflow. I have been told by most people they sound great though! That'll save you quite a bit of money too. I can't seeany shop charging you more than$100-$150 for them to do that. Good luck!

RE: 07 sierra exhaust
i'd at least try what charger's talking about, then if you dont like that sound, all you'd have to do is change out the mufflers... might cost a little extra than setting up the second setup the first time, but you'll save money if you like the cherry bomb
