09 Sierra WT grille options...
Hey guys,
I just purchased a 2009 Sierra Reg Cab 4X4 WT. One of the first things I want to do is replace the grille, and the grille surround. I don't know anyone who has a new style sierra and don't have mine yet, so I'm wondering if the grille surround is one seperate peice, or part of the bumper... I wanted to put a denali grill in it and paint the front and rear chrome bumpers Black (color of the truck) just like the denali.
Can I get some advice on this first step I want to take once I get the truck... I've been searching for chrome surrounds but only grills pop up.
Thanks!

while I'm here I might as well ask for thoughts on a couple other plans I had for it...
Its a V6 and I want to get a throaty sounds out of it, I know it won't be anything close to a V8 but oh well...Any ideas... Cut the muffler out and put a big rumble tip on the end maybe?
I also want to level the truck... I don't know if I'm going to need torrsoin keys, or rubber bumpers though to do it, anyone know?
Also plan on putting a body lift in (3") Do they make kits for the V6, I'm pretty sure it should be the same as the V8 but you never know haha.
And how will the level kit and the body lift work together? or won't they if there rubber bumpers?
Also going to throw 35" tires on, but don't really have any questions about that right now. Except if you have some pics POST EM!

Whadaya think of this one??? It's very nice and the GMC logo is attached and the side bars come all in one piece. It replaces the old grill and is not that difficult to install. Heck...I did it...anyone can do it.

They are actually a GM factory accessory. I work in the Fleet dept. at a dealership that carries Pontiac, GMC & Buick...as well as many other lines...therefore, I can order from them at dealer cost. (At least I get SOME benefits for working there). My cost is $279 plus tax. I would imagine you could get a GM dealer to get one for you within 15% higher. They are not that hard to install as well.
