a friend of mines dad has a set of 16 inch polished aluminum rims that he told me that i could have because he said they take up to much space. they are off of a 04 avalanche and are obv 6 lugs. i no that the new silverados have 17 inch rims for the smallest rim now and am not sure that they will fit my truck. i have drum breaks in the rear if that means anything as well. if anybody knows if they will fit that would b great thank!

 

they wont fit i dont think because of the brake system they put on that year. because my cousin has like an 01 and he cant put anything less that 17

 

Just measure. 6 lug 5 1/2 inch.

 

The rear should clear fine, the real issue is, will the front disc breaks fit inside of the rim?
Measure the inside dimensions to make sure there is enough room for the front breaks to clear, if so your good to go.
