Well its all about durability and quality. Obviously you are just lookin for something that is not too expensive but will last a while. Look into some Sony head units. They come with MP3 plug ins and very affordable...http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...CDX-GT320.html

It is all up to you. Im sort of a wiz when it comes to sounds in vehicles, I know the ins and outs pretty much according to brands, speaker placement, and sound quality. But it doesn't seem like you are into sound quality or brand so its up to you. Good luck!!

Money Spent = Quality and Durabilty. Bite the bullet and spend the bucks.
Otherwise asking us is wasting our time and YOURS.
I always loved those Supertuners, they were and still are a great setup.
