I really like the look of the front fire over down fire.

Front fire is really just for looks. The downfire box will give you more bass and better sound.

 

I've always wondered why down fire has better quality. It seems like the seat would muffle the sound. But i'll probably go with that. Thanks

 

personaly i like the down fire better it hides the subs from feet (personal experience) an adds at least three db front fire well lets say i got rid of that box fast kids put there feet through both cones

 

Which is the better way to go? Firing the subs up into the extended cab rear seat or down firing them? I only ask, because I am unsure. My thought was the rear seat would absorb the Bass... Any thoughts?
