1990 chevy 1500 driverside break light is out
i have a 1990 chevy 1500 silverado and only the driver sidebreak light is out. Ive replaced the bulb, and checked the fuses, replaced the contact plate and still can not figure out why i cant get it to work correctly. Now the reverse lights dont want to work and the blinker lights dont blink anymore they only stay on constantly. Use to be the break light would work sometimes but now it never works anymore only the passanger side break light works. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Have you tested the wire?

No i havent, would i just use a voltmeter to do that? Also what would make the reverse lighs not come on, nor the signal lights work correctly?

It could be a number of things, I've only had similar problems with a trailer setup and I ended up just replacing it all. Yes, you can use a handheld multimeter with the resistance setting selected. If you see numbers or hear a beep(depending on the model) your good.
