1990 Chevy Exhaust ???
I have a 1990 Chevy long bed extended cab v8, 350, 5.3L, I was consider on taking off the catalytic converter to get a better sound out of my truck. I have a flow master exhaust system on it now. I was wondering if it will make it sound a lot louder and meaner??? Any tips on taking it off. Two clamps hold the converter on now and I figured I could just clamp on a pipe.
I would appreciate the help or advice. Thanks |
Yes it will make it louder, and yes it will make it smell good and yes you can just clamp in a pipe. Easy as that.
PS. I think you meant 5.7liter... Welcome to the site by the way! |
Ok thanks, and yes i meant 5.7L idk why i put 3

They dnt do much here unless you are purchasing an out of state vehicle but their are starting to get a little more strict on it though at least around wichita

Truck sounds good now that i got it off was a little more of a job than i thought. I had to use a chisal in order to get the converter off. Got it off though.
