Truck Forums - 1991 Chevy Silverado Help.

Need some help fixing some little things on a '91 Chevy Silverado.

It's a 5-speed standard, 350ci. (was a v6, converted to v8)

First, when you throw it in reverse, the reverse lights don't come on. I don't know what/where the switch is that is supposed to turn them on but I'd like to get them working.

Next, the horn doesn't work, not sure what to check to troubleshoot that either.

Another problem is the e-brake, when you disengage it, the pedal drops back down a few clicks, not enough to drag the brakes (I can't smell/feel it) but it turns the brake light on in the dash which is annoying, any way to make that sucker pull right up when the brake is disengaged?

There is no block heater (I don't think), can I add one/where do they go?

Also, the air conditioning has been removed. What do I need/need to do to hook it back up? Or is it possible with the 350?

Finally, the truck has 35" Interco Super Swamper Thornbird tires on it. I'd like to get something for the winter that doesn't look too retarded on the truck like normal tires would. It's got a 6" suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift, so the tires would have to be tall to look ok. Any ideas?

All just minor annoying problems, but some help would make it a little easier on me and be greatly appreciated.
