Default 1992 CK 1500 Service Light

I have a 92 Silverado. all of a sudden the service engine light comes on and the vehicle spudders. i went to O'Reilly and placed the code reader on and it states that there are no DTC. My temperature gauge barely moves(i just put in a new thermostat hopping that fixes it) oil pressure drops to 0 when idle. please any ideas? O'Reilly tech said it sounds like the cluster board going bad

Put a paper clip in pin A and B. Turn your key to "run" and watch the check engine light blink. It will blink a series of three of the same number.

It blinks once, then twice three times. This means your ECM is alive, it will then blink in numerical order after that, your DTCs. For example,

You'll see code twelve flash three times. Blinks once, then twice - three times. Then there's a pause, then it moves to the DTC codes, such as code 32. It will blink three times, short pause, then two more times. It will do that series of blinks three times.

Count out your codes, write them down and report back here.

Good luck

Change the coolant temp sensor by the thermostat housing.
