1993 Z71 Rear disc brake conversion
 

Thought i needed just rear brake shoes. When i got in there my wheel cylinders were leaking, pads wore to rivets, cut large grooves in drums, springs shot on brakes, rear axle seals leaking badly.
Anyway after seeing all of this i am wondering about just doing a disc brake conversion instead. Up side of this it would eliminate all the springs, and other loose pcs, everything would be outside for easy pad changing in the future. Down side is it will cost more to do the conversion. Kits are very expensive. If i knew what parts from what vehicles would fit i would just go buy the individual parts myself.
I guess i'm just looking to see what all you chevy guys that may have done this conversion before thinks about it. Thanks for any input.
