1994 Chevy Bent Frame Questions??
I have a 1994 Chevy 1500 4x4 and i purchased the truck March 3rd 2015. Honestly its the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. On May 12th 2015, a woman in a 2013 Chevy Suburban pulled out infront of me, ran me off the road into a tree doing 50mph... I love this truck, 6" Lift, 35" BFG Mudders, I just put new headers with true duels, and an edelbrock intake on it. And i would like to know if the frame on my truck my be fixed? I just finished pulling the entire front clip off it and have found that the frame on the passenger side by the tow hook is damn near at a 90° angle and behind the sway bar, its bent, its pretty much tweeked from the tow hook, to the Transmission inspection cover. Im taking it to the frame shop next weekend, what can i expect price wise? Answers from them? Is it worth fixing? Thank you.

The pricing to straighten a bent frame can vary. It may take only a few hours to fix or up to two work days to get it back to straight.
I'm not sure, but your frame guys may wanted to see the damaged tins still on the truck. The damaged body tells a story in how they will pull your truck to straighten it. But it will still need to go on the rack IS IT WORTH FIXING? That answer is a matter of opinion. Some guys treat their truck like it's a family member. Some guys just like their trucks. Me, I love my truck and would straighten it if I was in your shoes |
