1994 GMC truck unknown plug
I have a 1994 GMC Sierra with the 5.7 (350) engine that I bought three months ago. On the passenger side of the engine is a plug with two wires, one wire is brown the other is blue. I can't find a place to plug this wire in. It is near the EGR valve but the EGR valve does not have an electrical connection. The EGR solenoid has a connection plugged in. The truck has an automatic transmission and AC.

looks like it could be for the oil pressure switch, or it could just be an extra for an optional part

Yes, it has an underhood light, but the light is connected.
