I'm in the market for a used truck. I found one truck that i'm very interested in. It's a 2004 Silverado LS 4x4, 4.8 litre. It's got 48000 kms on it. It's in great shape and has all the options i'm looking for. The only thing i'm concerned about is the engine size.

For myself, I do not own any kind of ATV or trailer so I don't have plans on pulling anything on a regular basis. I also don't plan on taking it off roading or anything rougher than a broken trail through the bush. But I hope to own this truck for as long as it lasts, so in case i do need to pull something or go through some rough terrain, i'd like to know what the engine's limitations are. limitions compared to the 5.3L?
