I got a 97 Z71 and the 4 wheel drive quit working on it.It never made any noise,it just will not lock in now.Does this year model work off vaccum?I had a 86 s-10 and it worked off a vaccum line.Where should I start looking? Thanks for any help.

97 is all electric......so some basic electrical diag is in order........start simple, fuses, relays, ect..............then if all is well there....move on to checking the wiring going to the T Case for power ect.........you WILL need a wiring diagram......if you dont know how to read one you will learn soon enough...lol
