1998 K1500 manual shifting and clutch.
 

On a long trip 1st and 3rd started kicking out of gear. Then the clutch lost all it's throw. After sinc shifting for about 1000 miles and using the starter to get the truck moving, the clutch mostly returned. Now after sitting everything is mostly working normally though 1st and 3rd still sometimes kick out. Is there a known issue with the clutches in these where they need bled or something? I'm at a loss.
