1. 2000 gmc sierra doesnt start right away. my guess is a new fuel pump, cuz i gotta pump the gas while i turn it on. usually works by 3rd time.

could be fuel pump or fuel filter, and I also had a weird one when I bought my truck. There's a check valve in the engine that had to be replaced. I had the same problem, but I'd try the filter first it's the cheapest and easiest.

 

Exact same problem I hada '00 Silverado I owned a few years ago. The fuel pump wasn't creating enough pressure and had to be replaced.
