2000 Chevy Silverado Truck won't keep running
I have a 2000 Silverado truck that will start but it immediately dies. The truck is full of gas but the gas gauge shows empty. It ran fine before this happened. I parked it one day and the next time I tried to start it, it would start but die right away. It is for sure, full of fuel, I have no idea why the gauge shows empty. The gauge had always been accurate before this started. I really need to know what I can do to fix it, anyone with any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Please be as specific as possible. It has a V-8 engine.

Are you SURE it's full? I know you said you filled it, but did you check to see if it's actually still full? Sounds like somebody stole your gas.

Other then someone stealing your gas or it leaking out really fast which I hope would be noticeable. When it shuts off does it just die and thats it or does it spit and sputter like it isn't sucking enough fuel into the injectors? Without a little more details your acutally out of gas like I know you said but fill it from cans and then try unless your did and didnt say. If thats the case post back how it dies and does it have any trouble starting or it is normal? Also how many times have you tried to start it and it died? will it start over and over but just die over and over or just start a couple times then crack and not turn over?
