2000 gmc fuel problems
Just purchased a 2000 gmc 1 ton old body style, 350. i am not getteing fuel to the engine. i have checked the fuel filter its great, fuel pump was pumping fuel through the lines. I have plenty of fuel to the engine, i opened a vavle that looked like a a valve stembehind the throttle body and fuel shot out. engine fires on carb cleaner and then dies right away. any ideas?

RE: 2000 gmc fuel problems
you need to find out the fuel pressure...it takes about 53psi for the engine to bust....screw a gauge to that schrader valve...I bet she's too low.
30 will shoot a stream across the shop...but not kick off the engine |

invest in a noide light and plug it into the injector wires it lights up if you have injector pulse if you still have no fuel go for the injectors
