Post 2000 silverado a/c still freezing up

hi guys i'm new to the forum and thought there is someone on here that is having the same problem as me. the a/c evap must be freezing up because after 30 min the air does not flow out of the vents even though the fan is working. i can turn the compressor off for 5 min. and it's alright again,I have changed the orifice tube ,the low pressure switch on accumulator and replaced the cabin filters and recharged system and it's still got me beat. thanks for the help

There is another pressure switch near the condensor on the driver side. If you take the air intake box out you can see it inline.

sounds good ,the air box is already off with the addition of cold air intake but do you know if it has a schraider valve like the accumulator did?

Not sure. I have yet to take it off and replace. Lookin at it, seems to appear pretty close to the one on the accumalator. When I look for parts online, it never shows to be two of them. Like O2 sensors.

Hey no problem. I been through the same thing with other bugs in the system. Im glad we have forums like this to read upon for research in diagnosing our own problems for low cost repairs and to share results with others to keep us all sane! LOL
