Default 2000 Silverado No Start

I have a 2000 Silverado 1500, 4.3 with 132,000 miles. After start, it runs fine, no signs of malfuntion. However it takes extended cranking to start. The fuel pump & filter was replaced 10,000 miles ago. Brand new wires & cap. I assume there is spark since it runs after start. Suspect the poppet valves, yet a good cleaning with seafoam made no difference.
I've fixed my own vehicles for 40 years, this one is a stump. I did not check the fuel pressure, but adding a capfull in the throttle body makes no difference. Almost seems like the timing if off at start only, is this possible??? .. .. at cranking, it will finally "catch" and run fine ..... any other ideas appreciated.

I just had the Viper 5901 installed in my Silverado yesterday. I came out this morning and my truck barely started battery seems almost dead. How can i go about explaining how to fix this problem to the shop that installed the alarm?
