So about a month ago I was looking at upgrading to a 2006 or so crew cab. I looked around for a little while but we decided to stick with my 03. That's when I decided to put the leveling kit and bigger tires on her...that might not happen now. Well my gf and I heard about a sale going on for 08s on the radio today. So we are headed to the dealership tomorrow!! Who knows what might come home with me!

Get a Denali or a Trail Blazer SS!! Those things are so bad ***. I got my *** handed to me by a TBSS about a week ago.

 

My buddy as a TBSS and that thing is sick fast!! What else would you expect from a vette engine!! Gotta love those bad *** bowties!!!

 

yea my local dealer has ext. cab ltz's Z71's for like $29K and 0% @60 months. they are desperate to get rid of them. they dont carry any 6.0 max's though. sometime soon gm is going to offer 0% for 72 months. i just hate the nbs chevys love the new gmc's. but my local dealer is not offering any deals on the gmc' (they just bought out the local gmc dealer so they paid full price for his trucks).
the new 5.3's are slow as crap, i think they have more TM than the 03-07 classics do. i would def. suggest a custom tune for it if you get one. love the new ltz interior though.

The dealership we're going to does have 0% for up to 72 months or $6000 in rebates. I agree with you that the new interiors are sweet. I too like the GMC front ends better than the Chevy but the GMCs are more expensive. And we're already looking at over $35000. We'll see what they've got and what they can do. If they really want to sell me a truck today, they'll find a way.

 

yeah, i have to agree with the slowness of the 5.3s (although still not as slow as the 5.4 fords..) anyway, my dad test drove a 5.3 and ddint like it cause the 2004 5.3 he used to own had so much more umph to it
