2002 Silverado- Problems on start-up
I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado, 5.3L with 146000 miles on it. A couple times this winter and more recently this weekend when I would start my truck, it would run really rough like it was missing on more than one cylinder. The first couple times it happened it would clean itself up pretty fast, but the more recent times it would take a little more time and me revving it up before it finally smoothed out. I don't think it is a problem of not getting fuel, but I could be wrong. What could possibly be causing this?

Could possibly have some junk in the fuel lines somewhere. Might try replacing the fuel filter and just do an all around tune up to start out with. Then go from there.

Try cleaning the air throttle body and the air inlet tube where they meet up. My truck would sputter and almost die when I would start it and I took the whole throttle body off and cleaned it real good and it hasnt done it since.
