Truck Forums - 2005 chevrolet silverado troubleshooting

I just recently bought a used 2005 chevrolet silverado Z71 it has 207,331 miles on it and I have several things I think are not working right the first thing is my instrument panel my truck did not come with steering wheel controls all the driver information center does it starts out says driver 1 and then jumps to the odometer but the personal and the business trip odometers neither one of them are even moving they are stuck on 0.0 miles then on my radio when I have the FM turned on every once in a while it will say the song that is begin played and the station but it only works every once i a while then on my instrument cluster ever since I first bought the truck the battery warning light stays on constantly I have replaced the alternator with a brand new one replaced the battery brand new light still stays on please will somebody please respond back and give me some help I will try just about anything to fix these problems but I have no idea where to even start Thank You
