2005 Chevy 1500 AC Intermittently works
 

Help!
My truck has a great AC when it works... but sometimes when I start it it won't make the compressor turn on, it just blows hot air. Then if I kill the engine and restart it it will then start cooling. What is going on here? is there a relay or contact that I need to replace? any suggestions would help. I know this has to be happening to others as I have another friend that has the same problem.

A/C Cycle switch is probably bad. Cheap part and this is very common.

:confused: Help my A/C does the same except I have dual climate control and the passenger side is cold as ever. What should I do?

Agreed.....the clutch cycling swith is probably bad.
