Default 2005 Chevy 2005HD Diesel Towing/Ride Question

I have a 2500HD Diesle that I want to improve the ride on. When I am towing our travel trailer (31 ft Trail Bay About 8K Lbs) the truck rides like a tank. You feel almost everything. What can I do to improve the ride when towing our travel Trailer? Would the ride be better with a 5th wheel or would it be the same? I have looked at a Kelderman air ride system. Would this solve my problem? Its a lot of money. I would hate to spend that money andstill have abad ride. Will new gas shocks help? Will standard air bags help? I have added and removed helper spings. They helped leveling the load but did not do much for the ride. I know its a truck and it's never going to ride likea car. But I would think there would be something Icould do. Need help

A 5th wheel will ride a lot better. The hitch weight will be right on the axel instead of the rear. One of my friends has the airbags and said it makes a difference in the ride quality, a lot better.

Big rig use air bags so I would think there durable. High end cars like Cadillac use them so I think they should be pretty good.

Bag the rear, put road style shocks on it, not off road style. Then use a fifth wheel and that should be pretty good. After that, look at getting different tires, like a highway tire.
