2005 Sierra 2500 Oil Pressure Gauge Problems
 

hi everyone,
im new to the site, just bought my dream truck and am lovin it!! however, my oil pressure gauge just spiked at 80 today, and will not go down. i know it is the gauge thats the problem, the motor has normal oil pressure. could this be a bad sending unit that is making my gauge just spike? or does anyone have any ideas? oh, and its got the 6.0 vortec. thanks for the help!!!
