2006 Silverado Clicking Noise
 

Quite annoying, to say the least. Sounds like it is coming from behind the driver's side of the dash. It's faint, but picks up at interstate speed, especially on windy days.

I drive a 2006 Hybrid (yeah yeah) 4X4 (not Z71). Any help to this problem would be very much appreciated.


About 5 months before it started, someone smashed in my window for a TomTom (prob street value of $50... thanks a lot) and broke the casing around my driver's side mirror. Those things have been replaced. Been dealing with this for about a year and it's driving my CRAZY!

Any help would be appreciated, though I'm not a gear head, but if I could at least tell the mechanic what's going on, I'd be thrilled.

No worries. I think I read on here that these trucks have problems with their vent door or something... Perhaps that is it.

I think it's the blend door, actually.
