2007 LT Silverado has a driver side window issue
2007 Silverado, LT, Crew Cab has an issue with a squeky driverside only window. All other windows are quiet when raised and lowered. The driverside is the only one that makes noise. It sounds like it is the window moving up and down not the motor. Does anybody have a fix for this? I tried washing it with soap and window spray...... I was afraid that WD-40 would hurts the fabric on the runners. Maybe not....!?

Driver side window issue...
I had the same thing going on with my 08 Silverado. The driver door glass would make this horrible noise everytime it went up or down.
When I put chrome door hands on my rig, and noticed that the leather part of my door panel was untucked. I used a flathead to get it all back in place. After I handled the door panel I ensured the gaskets were setting right also. Presto! Problem was solved... hope this helps. |
Thanks for the replies. The leather edges are OK.
I tried the silicon spray on the outside edges and the tracks on both sides. It made the noise go away for about three days. The noise is back. I will try it again. Where do I get the TSB's? |
Might try lithium grease.
