So my dad spent his afternoon afterwork taking a HeatGun to his tailgate to the vynal letters of Bobby Layman, cause he doesn't get paid to advertise his name on his brand new truck? lol are you really serious about this? tell me what you think.

So than you would of done the same thing? I know it may of been stupid but you could never know on how stupid these companies can be. but I asked well, wouldn't your warranty be voided now since you took that off, he about kicked my ass for the hell of it. But I really dont see the whole point taking it off, the time and so on, i mean if he took it off cause he doesn't get paid to advertise the name, then why drive the truck with the chevy symbol still on it or so on... but ive never asked my dad that.. I drive a 1996, honda accord LX, it was in perfect condition until someone did a hit and run to my car in the parking lot, and the camera and where I parked was in a "blind spot" so I didnt get much luck but as well insurance. I'm not doing it. to much $$

Ue is right about the sticker and im sure he is proud of his chevy symbol I know im proud of my GMC LOGO. But them dealers can kiss my @ss they cant put there name on my truck like I cant put my name on there car or truck.

Well it seems like it's a nice truck.

I don't know that I understand your reasoning for posting a thread about your dad taking the decal off the tailgate though. Most people do that pretty soon after buying their vehicle. But whatever.

Oh, well never noticed that. sorry I'll get picture asap. but he uses his truck as a truck and its dirty all the time. lol take it camping alot as well..

Hes actually working with the dealer now, cause he got the truck like November or so, and his rims are rusting and he gribed about it to the dealer and they said they would get that taken care of. and the guy he got the truck off of is no longer there so now he gonna discuss it with someone else. but when he did get the truck there was a scratch in the bed before we took it off the lot so to make the deal "fair" they gave my dad a free trailer hookup/setup plugin sorta thing to make him happy.
