I have a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 2x4 w/ 5.3



What tranny comes in these?

Here is my list of power mods I want to get
Air raid intake system
Magnaflow cat back - 3 in / 2- 2.5 in front of rear tire
programmer

Is this a good list, any ideas, opinions, other products to think about please let me know

1. 4l60e
2. air raid or k&n whichever is cheapest
3. never had a magnaflow
4. Blackbear custom tune, all handhelds are junk for power increases
5. corvette and 4th gear billet servos to help with the shift of the trans.

 

I just bought the following -

Bell tech -
2" Drop Spindles
2-3" Drop Shackles
Front Anti-Sway bar
All new shocks
2" aluminum wheel spacers
1.5" aluminum wheel spacers
Sonnax 4th gear servo
Sonnax 1-2 apply servo

This is a good start to take this truck from stock to better...not quite done but a good start.

Next will be headers, cat-back, programmer

 

Pretty truck. Is that an SLE or an SLT?

 

Yet more proof that nobody makes a truck as nice as GMC! Nice rig....

 

It is the SLE. 5.3 Liter Auto 2wd The color is a long *** name - cant remember so the easy term is purple. Thanks for the nice comment.
