2008 GMC Sierra leveling kit

i have a 2008 GMC Sierra. i was wondering if anyone knew that if i got a 2 inch leveling kit installed and kept my stock rims, would i be able to clear 35 inch tires. i had a 1999 chevy tahoe with keys and i cleared 35s so that is why i was wondering. if anyone knows anyone with this kind of setup please let me know or just give me your input.

The back tires would for sure, and the front should as well. The front might rub when you turn though.

The front will rub depending on what tires you run.

RE: 2008 GMC Sierra leveling kit

I put a 2" leveling kit on my truck with 305/70/R17 maxxis mudder buckshots. The manufacturer says the tire is 34" in diameter. When I first put them on they rubbed quite a good bit but after cutting some plastic fender molding off in the tire well they do not rub at all anymore. I would recommend the leveling kit but keep in mind that it will affect your mpg especially if you are going to put bigger tires on them. I've put more mods on and still haven't gotten back to the same mpg I had before I did anything to the truck.
