Default 2008 Silverado driving lights

Is there a brighter bulb that will replace the stock 5202 bulb in the 2008 Silverado driving lights?

have you thought about the HID conversion kit? You can get it on ebay for about 40 to 60 bucks and thats for the driving and or fog lights...

Default 2008 Silverado fog light bulb replacements

Most of the posts I've read say don't buy HID bulbs or kits on ebay. More posts say the replacement lens kits leak, don't work well or fail quickly. Finally, installing HID kits in either the stock headlights or fog lights scatters the light and blinds or is annoying to oncoming cars.

2 of my buddies have installed the HID conversion kits in there blazer and mustang. I even helped them adjust the lights to where they wouldnt be blinding others but they have now had them in for over a year and now problems at all. They both have crazy sound systems something like 15's with 2 2k watt amps with no HID dimage at all. Im thinking about ordering a kit for my silverado here sometime soon. If your still undecided ill post pics and specs on here.
