anybody out there heard of the best programmer out for the new body style 1500's for performance or gas mileage??

there are better things out there than programmers...

get a custom tune.

Westers, Wheatley, or Blackbear makes them for your truck and I have heard good about all 3.

nelson performance or blackbear performance. get the cutsom tune, 80%TM removed set for either 87 or 93 octane. pay the core charge to keep your original pcm for warrenty reasons.

I have used the Diablosport and Bully Dog on my new 08 and prefer the Bully Dog. I havent tried the Edge, Hypertechor Superchip but I've never had good luck with SC or Hypertech in the past on Gas Silverados.

I am currently running the Bully Dog and am very happy with it. p/n 40510

The gains I noticed with the BD seemed to be better, and I like the flexibility that I can also use it on a Dodge or Ford. I've pulled it off my truck, put it on a Mustang for the weekend, and then back on my truck after we were done playing. You cant do that with the Diablo.
