2010 GMC Sierra 5.3 engine "cough"

On my 2010 Sierra (only 2700 miles) when you shut the engine off it "coughs". Will be taking back to the dealership but wondering if anyone else has had the issue.

"cough" update

We have a fleet of 09 -10 GMC & Chevs with the 5.3 engine where I work and I checked them out today. Of the 6 I started and shut off all 6 did the same thing as mine. I don't know what it is and none of the mechanics did either but it must be normal - if anyone can explain it I'd appreciate knowing. I apologize for not checking it out before I wasted any of your time with this thread.

What octane gas are you running? I heard that if you do not run clean 87 octane, you will have the cough.
