2011 Silverado Z71 4x4

Hello Gang,

New to the forum but looks like a lot of activity here. I recently purchased a new 2011 Chevy Silverado Z71 Extended Cab and already wanna do a mod. Wanted everyones opinion on the Rough Country leveling kits to level out that nose down appearance that I'm not happy with. I see they are made of some type of poly I guess and fairly inexpensive but I'm hesitant to try it over steel or aluminum ones. Any experience with these? Maybe I'm just old fashioned about "plastic", how durable is it over the other materials? Thanks for the help!

aluminum is a weaker metal as it will bend and flex and crush easy
if you do any off roading
there inexpensive yes
but steal and poly urathane are your best bet
as the poly is alot stronger and believe it or not you can find them cheap
as yoru vehical is a 2011 the prices fro mods will be slightly higher as there arent much companys out there moding them yet
there are some out there you just need to look harder call around to different shops
also the poly ones will last 3 times as long as aluminum and steal will
my 1988 chevy had poly everything from cab mounts to shock bushings to a arm bushing the whole 9 yards they were put on several several years ago by the previous owner and they still look brand new
but i sold that truck

Thank you gang! I plan to install hopefully tonight if all goes well. I'll keep ya posted. Nervous but it should look great if I get it all back together correctly.
