Default 2012 Sierra Winter Wheels

My new Sierra is equipped with the TPMS....and the nice 20" chrome wheels. I'd like to keep these wheels nice and not subject them to PA winters, but the TPMS makes it difficult to find cheap older wheels to throw on.

Has anyone found a relatively inexpensive solution to this problem? Or am I stuck buying newer wheels with the TPMS sensors installed?

Thanks

I've not done it but why not buy the sensors and install in a set of older rims. Here is one place that sells the sensor.

Thanks TMW, until now I didn't realize how simple the sensor install is.

Now, any idea where I can find out if 01 Tahoe wheels are a direct fit on a 2012 Sierra?

If you have access to the wheels try one on. If your rear is drum brakes try it on the front and rear to make sure it clears. They both should be 6 lug rims.
