2013 serria 3inch round nerf bars
 

The Factory GMC 3inch round steps that mount to the rocker panel. how do they work out like that does it bend the rocker panel at all. I see aftermarket stuff mounts using the cab mounts but i heard that isnt the best thing to do. thanks josh

the GMC/Chevy factory bars for my crew cab mount to the cab in 4 sections using 8 bolts. They bolted on in L bracket fashion mounts directly to the frame of the truck. I can take you a picture of the underside of the mount if you want to see.

I have had them for 2 years on my 09 with no problems, rust or corrosion. In VA they like to throw down salt and sand any time we get a threat of snow and I havent seen any wear on them up to this point.

Thats the part number for the black 3inch step side for the crew cab I have that also fit the 2013 Siera Crew Cab. I will take you a picture when I get home so you can see the mounting under chasis and see if that will bother you or not on your truck.
