1992 1500 305tbi

I'm looking around the used market for some headers, been doing research on high vacuum vs backpressure etc etc... and might bore out the exhaust valve ports a bit if I can get away with it...

but keeping the vacuum and b/pressure in mind, what are some good headers/sizes for my engine to look out for? for both the exhaust pipes coming out the block and the collector pipe?

idk much/can't find much info on sizes I should be looking into

 

Again it's an issue of what do you expect from the headers. If you go cheap you'll get cheap but I don't think you need to go as far as a set of Thorleys. Both Summit and Jegs sell headers for the 305.

 

Long tubes with 1 1/2" should be good for a 305. My 5.3 runs good with the 1 3/4" long tubes.
