Default 33X12.50X16 vs 265X75X16

Would i be able to replace my 265's with 33's without any mods, as in, basically, would they fit? No lift or anything? Tire for tire, are they maybe cheaper? I work part-time at Wally world, so i could get a discount on them, but just curious, who's put 33's on their stock Silverado and likes or dislikes. Thanx, Jim

i am not sure about this at all, but i dont know very many vehicles that you can put 33x12.50 without getting a lift. and again i may be completely wrong im just assuming it would be a very very tight fit

They will not fit without some help. Also hardly anyone makes or sells 33x12.5x16 tires. They are out there but they are very hard to find and quite expensive. This is because after you hit a 16" wheel everything switches to metric. The equivilant size for that tho is 305x70x16. Now if you really want to be able to get cheaper tires pick yourself up a set of cheap used 15" wheels and you will see the price of tires drop $50-$100 per. Just a thought.

Part 2. I really like a truck with a good set of 33's. It always looks good.

Good luck!

yeah i have rubbing problems on my 97 1500 with 265x75x16 which ive been told is equiv to 31"s. the only place i dont have problems is in the rear and i thank my 3" rear lift for that because they used to hit fender well
