I have a 94' Silverado 1500 full size pickup truck......i have a 2-4" drop on it now with springs in the front and shackles and hangers in the back.....i want a 4-6 but i have 20" rims so it will hit my fender if i go any lower in the front......so will i need control arms or what? and what else would i nedd with control arms to keep the tires from wearing out?

RE: 4-6 drop kit

I HAVE A 93 SILVERADO SHORT BED WITH 4" DROP SPRINGS AND 2" DROP SPINDLES IN THE FRONT AND 2" LOWERING LEAF SPRINGS AND SHAKLE AND HANGER KIT IN THE BACK ALONG WITH THE C-KNOTCH, WHEN I WAS DRIVING THE TRUCK IT HAD STOCK TIRES ON IT AND THE FRONT TIRES HAVE A DIAMETER OF 29 INCHES AND THEY WOULD ONLY HIT THE FENDER ON THE EDGE WHEN I MADE A SHARP TURN TO FAST NOW I'M WORKING ON THE TRUCK AND IT HAS 22"X10" RIMS WITH 35 SIDEWALL TIRES, THEY DON'T RUB ON ANY OF THE SUSPENSION COMPONENTS AND THEY SIT FLAT. I DID CUT MY FENDER ON THE INSIDE TO AVOID ANY RUBBING ON TURNS. I DON'T THINK YOU NEED CONTROL ARMS YOU SHOULD TRY THE LOWERING SPINDLES, OR YOU CAN ALWAYS GO WITH AIRBAGS.
