Default 410 Gear

I have done the air aid cold air intake, super 44 dull flow masters, super chips programmer, andTBbody spacer. I was looking at headers but everyone I talk to says I will lose low end. So I think the next step is goingwith the gear they should have put in my truck the 410. The 323 really boggs the truck down. If you have 20" wheels you can for get it. Has any one had good luck with this gear swap?

What size tires are you running? A 3.73 may be a better fit for you.

Based on your avatar I'd have to agree with Smoke.

if you only have 31" tires then 3.42 for decent power and milage, 3.73 for good power with decreased milage, 4.10 for awesome power and accelleration, but really decreased milage. My truck had pretty good power with 3.42 and 32" tires. So it really depends on what you are wanting. What is your goal? Milage, towing, racing, etc.

What was the stock tire height?

Its a 4.8 so the gas miliage is pritty good 18 going to Dallas. I am looking for great off the line low end power for fun/race. This is off topic but did you see a difference when you descreened your MAF. I'm nervous aboutcutting that out.
