I have a 2006 regular cab 2wd long bed and I was looking to put either 20" or 22" rims and was wondering if anyone had any photos or suggestions for the 20" or 22" rims and tires ..... any help would be appreciated

You need 20s. 22s are a little too big and ride AWFUL.

At maximum I would do 20's with a 50 series tire. A 60 series will rub the inner fender wells while turning.

Ya 20's is what I was thinking. But some of the local tire shops have told me that 22's with a 40 series tire would be no problem..

Well you go too big and your gonna need to also change out your rotors and pads for more braking power cuz you have more weight turning. When I had my 20's on, I could tell I needed to mash more on my brakes to stop. Pads and rotors wore out quicker. It felt as if I needed to stop hard to avoid an accident, it would take longer to stop. Also your trucks performance will lose a little power cuz of the bigger rotation your transmission has to make unless you change out your ring and pinion gears to compensate. You will get better gas mileage but lose some power.
