5.3 flex fuel motor ratings??
 

i know there is a difference.....as for mine..i just need some correction, i have the 07 classic 5.3 flew fuel...and it rates at 295hp/335tq..is this correct?? i know for the new 07 models it went up...but is mine equipped with the newer more powerful flex fuel 5.3 or not?? i just needed to know.

Russ, read this article. Everything I have read, there is no decrease in hp and torque with the flex fuel option.

well the thing is this...yes they uped the power for 07's BUT the power on the 06s were lower....and due to some helpful experienced people on this forum....the flexfuel option is the same...however, the flexfuel for 07 classics, and 06s are as follows 295hp/325tq....non flexfuel....310hp/325/tq so we lose 15 hp to the non felxible fueld motors not really a noticeable big thing, but it is there.

Ok, so it's the same power for the 07's but different for the 06. Glad GM decided to even it out.
