'88 GMC 5.7L, K1500 4x4- Oil Cooler Adaptor

Hello people! More fixin going on in the Valley-O-Da-Sun!!

'88 GMC K1500 4x4
5.7L/350ci TBI engine
28" wide radiator with Tranny and Engine Oil Cooler options

The adaptor that bolts to the bottom, drivers side, rear of the block. This adaptor allows the installation of the engine oil cooling lines, that run to the radiator. It also moves the oil filter to a horizontal location. It leaks between the block and this adaptor as far as I can trace out. I've tightened the two bolts that secure it to the block but it still dripps pretty good. I need the gasket for this adaptor. For some reason I can't find it on auto parts sites. My lame manuals don't even show or talk about it.

Anybody know what this adaptor is "officially" called?

Does it even have a gasket?

Do I have bigger problems?

Thanks for all your help!!

I can post a pick if that will help....

Thanks for the replies!! Here is what I found in case others may need it.
As mentioned above, it's offically called an "Oil Filter Adaptor". The kit comes with an o-ring and a gasket.

GM part#: 88893990

other numbers on the package:

7807083
GR.1.840

I had to disconnect the 'front drive shaft' and the 'transmission support bracket' to get enough room to rotate the filter adaptor to remove the old gasket. It was baked on pretty good. The o-ring was flat and hard. Probably from getting to hot once or twice in it's lifetime.

I'm off and running!!!
