hello everyone,
i am new to this site and this is my first post. I've searched the forum and haven't found specific answers. I just picked up a 1989 chevy k1500 with low miles (on the odometer anyway). The manual trans is what made me want the truck. I've always only had manual trucks and was very happy to find this one. Unfortunately I don't think the trans is in great shape. Clutch grabs fine but it clanks while shifting or grabbing as I let my foot of the clutch. It's by no means smooth shifting through the gears. Lots of clanks and bangs. It never pops of of fear and it doesn't really grind at all. I'm not exactly sure what's going on...any ideas? The clutch pedal also seems incredibly hard to push down.
