91 sierra problems need help

hey i have a 1991 gmc sierra 4x4 with a 350 in it. ive had the truck on the road about a week and there were no issues. now suddenly everytime i put the truck in gear it snuffs itself. not right away but if i either give it a normal amount of throttle or if i let it coast for about 10 feet she'll sputter out and quit. after it does this it will only start again if my foot is to the rug. aswell if i gently give it throttle for a couple feet i can drive it normaly or if i bring the rpm up andf then shove it in gear shell go fine. then to top it all off when i put it in park it idles high not extreme just higher than usual. there are no vaccuum leaks. and i kno wen the gas tank is super full she drips a small leak. any ideas?

Well, sounds like poor fuel pressure, or an EGR issue. Is your check engine light on?

no check engine light, and EGR has be isolated i plugged the vaccuum lines to it. now weeks later it just randomly got worse. now the truck is very difficult to start and it will not stay running unless i keep my foot on the gas. and maybe if im lucky and i very very gently bring the idle down it will idle at about 500 rpm. ive tried the idle air sensor and the throttle position sensor and neither made a difference. aswell if im driving down the road the throttle response is as good as ever but if dont keep my foot on the gas it will die at any speed. im swapping the fuel filter today and we'll see wat happens.
