Default Potential buy: 2004 Sierra 2500

Hi all, I'm looking at a truck and have some questions for the techies. I'm looking at a 2004 Sierra 2500HD 6.0. Mileage is 220,000kms, has new transmission, exhaust manifold gaskets and bolts, starter, ball joints etc...normal mntc stuff. Is it normal for 6.0 to use some oil?

This truck has a leveling kit installed, and a 3" body lift. I'd like to lower it all back to stock, as I tow a fifth wheel camper. When the owner had it installed, the shop gave him back all the stock blocks and stuff they took off to jack it up, minus a few bolts. It's a great truck and well looked after, but I want to lower it to tow my camper. Does the lift affect how the truck drives? It tends to wander and pull slightly to the right. Torsion bars outta wack maybe? Not sure. Any advice is appreciated!

Personally I'd take the 3 inch body lift off but leave the leveling kit. 130,000 miles is not that much, I have 139,000 on my 04 Z71. How much oil is it using? A couple thousand miles per quart is good. Less than a 1000 miles per quart is not so good. Do you get white smoke when it starts up after setting a while? If so no so good. Normally a lift does not affect to any degree how it drives. Big lifts, especially with huge tires, can be hard on steering components. I have a leveling kit on mine. If it wanders I'd have someone who knows check all the steering components whether or not they have been replaced, also the shocks. Wandering means something is loose or worn. Unless one side is sagging I doubt the torsion bars are a problem.
